ANSI Hi-Vis Classes: Which Level Does Your Crew Need?

Understanding ANSI visibility classes helps you choose the right shirt for your job site requirements:

• ANSI Class 1 — Minimum visibility for low-risk environments. Warehouse workers, parking attendants, and delivery drivers in low-traffic areas.
• ANSI Class 2 — The most common requirement. Road construction, utility crews, survey teams, and anyone working near vehicle traffic. Must have 775 sq inches of background material and 201 sq inches of reflective striping.
• ANSI Class 3 — Maximum visibility for high-risk environments. Highway workers, flaggers, and night crews. Requires sleeves with reflective material for 360-degree visibility.
